Volvo DUETT was produced between 1953 and 1969 as an estate with FR layout, 1.8liters B18A l4 engine and 4-speed M40 manual transmission. It was meant both as a delivery car and a regular sedan. It was produced as a panel van, bare chassis, and estate car. It was based on Volvo PV with the same engine and front suspension. It also had a ladder frame and leaf springs. It became a role model to built later on tractors, hot rods, trucks, commercial vehicles, and convertibles. It was the only model in the US to be available with a separate frame. It was produced both as PV445 and later on P210 models.
