Porsche 991 is an internal name of the 911 launched in 2011. It has a new platform and is offered with 6 and 7-speed manual transmission, and seven-speed PDK. It has a new transaxle that improves the weight distribution and performance of the vehicle. The maximum speed is reached on the sixth gear, while the seventh is used to reduce the fuel consumption. All models have an auto stop and start option. The PDK was two gearboxes combined in one and was available for all the models. The weight of the models varied from 1380 to 1605 kg depending on the other features that they had. Initially, the horsepower was 345 and reached 552 in 2013.
