Audi 80 Cabriolet was produced from 1991 to 2000 based on Audi Coupe, as a two-door convertible. It was initially available with five-cylinders 2.3 liters petrol engine, which was substituted in 1992 with 2.8 liters V6 with 174hp and in 1993 with 2 liters four-cylinder petrol engine. In 1994 the airbags became a standard, and 2.6 liters V6 engine was introduced with 150hp. In 1995 was introduced a cabriolet model with 1.9 liters turbo diesel engine. They were offered both with an automatic and manual transmission and front engine and front-wheel drive. It was considered a large family car.
