Audi 80 was in production from 1966 to 1996 and was introduced in four generations. Audi F103 was produced from 1966 to 1972. The first generation was in production from 1972 to 1978. The second generation was in production from 1978 to 1986, including the 4000 and 4000 5+5 produced from 1980 to 1987, third generation in production from 1986 to 1992, and fourth generation in production from 1991 to 1996. It was also famous as Audi Fox and Audi 4000. The generations were marked with B1, B2, B3, and B4, from which approximately 4 400 000 vehicles were created. It was substituted by Audi A4.
